Books by Rachel M. Harrison

From survival, to leadership, to clarity — each book reflects a different stage of my evolution as a writer, coach, and woman rebuilding her life with intention. Whether you are stepping into your own healing, strengthening your leadership, or seeking clarity in the quiet moments of your life, these books offer a companion for the journey.

Written with presence, honesty, and a trauma‑informed understanding of what it means to reclaim yourself piece by piece.

Last month, I found myself standing in my living room, surrounded by towers of books I'd collected over years of healing work — some dog‑eared from being read again and again, others barely cracked open but still meaningful. I realized these weren't just books; they were witnesses. Companions that had met me exactly where I was in different seasons of growth and recovery.

Some offered gentle permission to feel. Others gave me language when I had none. A few offered practical tools when I was finally ready to take action. Creating an intentional collection of resources has become one of my most grounding practices.

Nobody’s Saving Me But Me

and the God who gave me the strength to do it

In October 2024, Rachel was dropped at a hospital door by the man who had just attacked her. He did not give them her name. He did not stay. He came back. And in November, she left by ambulance. This is not a story about being rescued. No one came. This is about the moment she decided she was done waiting.

You Didn’t Fall For Him — Your Wound Did

You didn’t choose him because he was right for you. You chose him because he felt familiar. This book is about the wound beneath the pattern — understanding the attachment dynamics, the nervous system responses, and the quiet self-betrayals that kept you there.

Not a book about blame. A book about recognition, and what becomes possible once you can see clearly.

A Grounding Practice

How to Build Your Own Books Hub

One of the most supportive things you can do for your healing, leadership, or clarity journey is to create a personal Books Hub — a small, intentional collection of resources that meet you exactly where you are. A Books Hub is not a reading list or a stack of obligations. It is a living, breathing reflection of your inner world and the season you're moving through.

The goal is not to collect more information — it's to gather companions. Books that witness you. Books that steady you. Books that help you return to yourself when life feels loud or disorienting. Over time, your Hub becomes a map of your growth: the questions you've asked, the boundaries you've built, the clarity you've reclaimed.

What to Include in Your Books Hub

  • Books that meet your current capacity. Not everything needs to be deep, heavy, or transformative. Sometimes you need gentle, simple, or grounding.
  • Books that offer language. When you don't have the words, the right book can help you name what's happening inside you.
  • Books that expand your leadership. Especially if you're rebuilding identity, boundaries, or self‑trust.
  • Books that remind you of who you are. These are the ones you return to again and again — the dog‑eared companions.
  • Books that support your nervous system. Slow, steady, body‑aware writing that helps you regulate rather than overwhelm.

As you explore the books on this page, notice which ones speak to the season you're in. You don't need to choose all of them. You don't need to rush. Your Books Hub is something you build slowly, intentionally, and at your own pace — just like healing itself.

These books are not separate chapters — they are a continuum. Together, they trace the movement from surviving, to leading, to living with clarity. However you arrive here, I'm honored to share this work with you.
