Stop Negotiating

You’re not struggling because the mountain is too high. You’re struggling because you keep stopping halfway up to negotiate with the person who wants you to fail — and that person is looking right back at you in the mirror.
In “Stop Negotiating,” Rachel kills the excuses: I’ll start Monday. I don’t have enough time. I’ll wait till I feel motivated. Motivation is a liar — action creates motivation, not the other way around. Your brain is designed to keep you safe, warm, and comfortable, but comfort is the enemy of greatness.
Ask yourself the hard question right now: what is the one thing you’ve been putting off because it’s uncomfortable? Then do it before the sun goes down. Don’t think about it. Execute.
Stop negotiating. Go get to work.
